SNES style 16-bit tile sets

This will eventually be a collection of 16-bit style fantasy RPG tiles for RPG Maker MV/MZ, it is still very incomplete and some tiles are placeholders.  Right now I've only included the exterior town tiles I've made, I don't have enough interior tiles or world map tiles ready. 

I've been basing it on SNES RPGs like Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana, Star Ocean and Tales of Phantasia.  I'm not much of an artist so the quality varies a lot lol.

It uses a lot of color palettes taken from those games and similar styles but nothing is directly ripped from them. The tiles are made in Aseprite with a 16x16px tile base, though the download I put up is scaled up 3x to a 48x48px base since they're meant for RPG Maker.  

It also does not use A.I. at all.

It's not a 1:1 replacement for the base RTP tilesets that come with RPG Maker.

It will not have character sprites as I'm not skilled enough to make them, though it does have some large trees and windows that are in the character folder.

I may make a demo once there is enough done to not be using any of the original RTP assets.   The screenshots aren't exactly the best but I haven't really prepared for posting this stuff yet.

They are free for commercial and non-commercial use, but if for whatever reason you feel like donating a couple bucks that's an option. 

Do not use for A.I. training or NFTs.
